Taking inspiration from the substance we are immersed and depend on in this selection, Primarily due to the most original method of drying lumber: Our AIR.

7 Arrow's shrub oak slabs are entirely sustainably harvested. Currently, we are compliant with US Forest Service Regulation to source lumber by only finding dead and down trees to create with.The uniqueness of our craft begins with sourcing and hand harvesting these creations. We were fortunate to have found these trees being downed after a storm. Often shrub oak deteriorate from the core outwards and are typically unable to be used for building as a result.

Coterminal with the air, chaos theory and the encompassing ideas regarding stochastic patterns and asymmetrical variations from the very air molecules to the organic and inorganic matter that makes up this furniture is dialogue for the shapes. The inorganic pieces are meant as stable yet asymmetric response to the bio-mimicry of the oak.
